ROCK CLIMBING DEHRADUN
Tracing Traveloft's roots back to its early days, our journey began with activities like trekking and rock climbing. As we evolved, so did our services, expanding to include village tours, outdoor education, and corporate programs. We firmly believe that nature is the best teacher, and our mission is to introduce people to the thrill of adventure sports, including rock climbing, irrespective of age, skill level, or gender.
Under the broad umbrella of rock climbing, our initiatives have spanned various locations, including Maldevta, Dhanaulti, and Chakrata. These programs focus on imparting fundamental rock climbing skills, allowing participants to understand the sport and progress to more challenging levels. Maldevta, in particular, attracts climbers from Dehradun and beyond, offering accessible rock faces for civilian practice sanctioned by the BSF.
The acknowledgment of rock climbing as an Olympic sport in 2022 spurred us to establish GRIPDT, a fully functional indoor facility since June 2023. The goal was to provide climbers with a year-round training space, creating a controlled environment for skill refinement within the city.
In response to changing preferences, we've introduced a comprehensive package that seamlessly integrates both indoor and outdoor climbing experiences within a single program. This unique offering is divided into two parts: the initial phase involves learning the fundamentals of rock climbing in the indoor gym, followed by the second phase, where participants apply their skills on natural rock formations.
